About The Position

We are seeking a skilled OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens position at a hospital in California. This 70-day assignment begins on 07/07/2025, with a potential for extension. The ideal candidate will work Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care. The role involves managing well-woman care, annual evaluations, health screenings, preventative care, fertility and family planning, prenatal management, and care for chronic illnesses/diseases.

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Conduct well-woman exams and annual evaluations 

• Perform health screenings and provide preventative care 

• Offer fertility and family planning services 

• Manage prenatal care for expectant mothers 

• Treat chronic illnesses and diseases related to women's health 

• Handle general gynecological and obstetric cases 

• Utilize Epic EMR system for patient documentation and management 

• Collaborate with OB/GYNs and other healthcare professionals 

• Provide patient education on women's health issues 

• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures 

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Additional Information: 

• Experience in OB/GYN care required 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment 

• Current California NP license required
