Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Board Certified Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine Physicians for a weekend urgent care locum tenens opportunity in Glasgow, KY. This role provides 12-hour shifts on weekends at a busy urgent care center with strong APP support and competitive compensation.

Opportunity Details:

• Location: Glasgow, KY
• Contract Type: Urgent Care Physician Locum Tenens
• Shift Schedule: Weekend day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Coverage Need: 3-4 shifts per month

Facility Details:

• Annual Patient Volume: 29,500
• Urgent Care Beds: 12
• Provider Coverage Per Shift: 1 MD + 2 APCs
• EMR System: Cerner

Responsibilities:

• Provide urgent care services for walk-in patients
• Handle non-life-threatening illnesses and minor injuries
• Work alongside two Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs) per shift
• Collaborate with hospitalists for admissions when necessary

Provider Requirements:

• Board Certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine (MD/DO)
• Active Kentucky State License & Unrestricted DEA
• Minimum Commitment: 3-4 shifts per month
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS

Program Details:

• Daily Coverage: 1 MD + 2 APCs (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Patients Per Hour: 6.7
• Admitting Orders: Managed by hospitalists
• Credentialing Timeline: Expedited for clean files
• Temp Privileges Available: Yes
