QPS Employment Group has a great Mechanical and Electrical Assembler position at a company in Machesney Park, IL. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire.Â
Mechanical and Electrical Assembler Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assembly of electrical components to build large back-up generator housing.
- Various hand and pneumatic tools will be used during the process while following detailed blueprints.
- Testing the units will also be a required step in the process.         Â
- Blueprint and mechanical drawing reading.
- Assembly and test parts to specification.
- Connect cables, bend conduit, and wiring, according to specifications.
- Position, align and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly.
- Operate hand tools.
- Panel wiring.         Â
- Operating Pneumatic tools.
Mechanical and Electrical Assembler Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Dexterity and ability to work with hands.Â
- Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Must have a solid 1 yr manufacturing background.
