About The Position
A health system is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage.
Southern New Hampshire offers a plethora of enjoyable activities, from exploring the picturesque trails and natural beauty of Pawtuckaway State Park to indulging in a day of adventure at Canobie Lake Park, an amusement park filled with thrilling rides and entertainment.
The scope of this position involves a wide range of cases, including vascular, trauma, neurosurgery, thoracic, gastrointestinal, orthopedics, and interventional radiology, contributing to a high-volume department that handles over 40,000 anesthetics annually. The schedule requires working 40-50 hours per week, typically from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. This role is fully inpatient, supporting a 480-bed facility, with patients ranging in age from 2 and up. The team includes 42 physicians, 53 APPs, and 24 rotating residents or students, all utilizing the EPIC EMR system. Candidates must be board-certified (or eligible within five years), and subspecialties in pediatrics, cardiac critical care, regional, or obstetrics are preferred. A clean record with no malpractice issues is required.
