Responsibilities:
- Layout, install, test, calibrate, inspect, maintain and repair a wide variety of complicated AC and DC electric light and power distribution circuits, apparatus, meters, instruments and control equipment.
- Use voltmeter, ammeter, test lights and various other types of electric meters
- Work on electric motors
- Install and maintain supply and control wires
- Wire and test bridge crane controls
- Wire and test complicated overhead crane installations
- Change voltage connections and install gauges on high tension transformers
- Test, overhaul, maintain and repair various instruments
- Understand and adhere to all standards operating procedures, work rules and safety procedures
Qualifications:
- Ability to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily
- Pass an entrance exam
- Pass a hands-on testing program
