What You Will Do:
- Plans/manages dock flow in order to safely and effectively meet outbound shipment and inbound receiving schedulesÂ
- Trains, develops and monitors logistics associates in required duties
- Performs safety, procedural and housekeeping audits of the logistics areasÂ
- Identifies safety hazards and implements changes necessary to mitigate hazardsÂ
- Proactively communicates with customer service, management, production and maintenance department personnel to meet departmental and plant objectivesÂ
- Accurately processes necessary transactions related to labor reporting and record keepingÂ
- Performs daily administrative tasks involved with maintaining inventory accuracy in SAP and additional systems
- Back-up forklift operator for shipping and receiving operations as labor crewing and demand dictates (this is a “working” coordinator position)Â
Position Details:
- Plant location: Martinsburg, WV
- This position will work 2nd shift: Monday - Friday, 2:00PM - 10:00PM
- Overtime is required, depending on business needs.
- Hourly Compensation Range $28 / hour (+ $0.35 shift differential). Hourly Compensation is based on full-time 40 hours per week.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- 2 years of Ecolab experience in logistics (shipping and receiving), or 5 years of logistics experience in a related industryÂ
- 1 year of experience in coaching and mentoring of staffÂ
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift/carry 50lbs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degreeÂ
- Computer literacy with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Knowledge of ISO, DOT and OSHA standardsÂ
- Experience utilizing SAP and/or other WMS
- Willingness to assume new responsibilities and activities for personal and professional developmentÂ
- Good time management skills
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, working in a high volume, high SKU count environmentÂ
- Strong written and verbal communications skillsÂ
