About this Position: 

Responsible for the oversight and management of Wellbeing strategy, programs, and initiatives throughout the region.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Leads the development and implementation of health promotion and wellness programs and services across all US Honda locations. Possesses strong knowledge and maintains expertise of all facets of wellness industry best practices, trends, and national accreditation standards
  • Accountable for fiscal and operational management of wellness program, vendor management and analysis of data relative to healthcare cost and risk trend and programming. Manages, negotiates, and ensures compliance with external vendors and contractual agreements.
  • Coordinates initiatives with other healthcare management functions to ensure optimal performance, clinical outcomes, customer experience and cost effectiveness to meet corporate goals and objectives.
  • Directs health promotion and wellness products and services to ensure they are  competitive in marketplace, run efficiently, effectively and in a cost-effective manner towards optimal performance toward corporate goals/objectives; and that the necessary infrastructure, personnel, processes, and reporting are in place to demonstrate positive outcomes and return-on-investment (ROI).
  • Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders and utilize health promotion and wellness to improve business outcomes, attraction, and retention strategies
  • Presents regional wellness analysis and strategy to executive management.

 

Who we are seeking:

Required Work Experience:

  • 5-7 years of HR, benefits or wellness program design and administration experience required

 

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field of study

 

Desired skills:

  • Advanced knowledge with a variety of the Wellbeing platforms, concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish business goals
  • Advanced knowledge of the business financial aspects of the Wellbeing program, including budgets
  • Strong organizational skills, planning skills, with the ability to prioritize workload
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
  • Works well under pressure with the ability to meet deadlines and establish human resources assignment commitment dates
  • Communicates effectively and professionally with all levels of management and personnel, vendors, customers, and Company visitors
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Access, Excel) Core HR
