Age Requirements 

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older for this position.

Responsibilities:
  • Assists with the regular maintenance of emergency equipment and FX training. 
  • Partners with departments to assist with creating solutions to safety concerns; processes and completes departmental paperwork and maintains a high degree of confidentiality. 
  • Responds to and assists with park emergencies; assists First Aid staff as needed; operates emergency vehicles. 
  • Performs follow-up inspections for corrective action and reports continued safety issues primarily to Associates one to two levels above. 
  • Performs routine fire and safety inspections; conducts investigations on necessary first aid incidents as requested by the first aid RN. 

Qualifications:
  • Driver's License, Ohio EMT Certification, Ohio Volunteer Fire Certification. 
  • Ability to drive, or learn to drive, a vehicle with a manual transmission. 
  • Ability to demonstrate familiarity with using OSHA, OBBC, and Ohio Fire code regulatory manuals and proficiency in Microsoft Office 
  • People who interact well with others from all backgrounds and age groups.

  • Availability to include some weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
