Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sign Shop Carpenter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and maintaining various signs and displays throughout the park. Your craftsmanship will play a crucial role in enhancing the visual appeal and functionality of our attractions.

Responsibilities:
  • Construct and install signs, displays, and other carpentry projects as needed.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing signs and displays.
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure accurate and high-quality production.
  • Operate and maintain carpentry tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist with other carpentry projects and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a carpenter, preferably in a sign shop or similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Able to work at heights, including from catwalks, aerial lifts, crane brackets, scaffolding, and structure climb.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
