Digital Asset Management Specialist

Location (Optional):  

• This is a remote position. We will provide all equipment to do the necessary functionalities of the position. 

What you’ll Do: 

As a Digital Asset Management Specialist, you will join the Product Data Operations Team and report to the DAM Product Owner. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business and technical requirements for supporting multiple digital product catalogs. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of digital asset management best practices, a strong understanding of e-commerce data models, the ability to work well with multiple remote teams, a demonstrated ability to understand and troubleshoot technical software and process issues, and a passion for delivering results.

• Source digital assets from suppliers and photographers
• Ensure appropriate asset tagging to meet stakeholder needs and integration requirements
• Map digital assets to products in PIM
• Correct erroneous images based on feedback
• Perform reports and data integrity audits
• Advocate best practices for governance standards and processes
• Answer day-to-day questions on digital assets
• Troubleshoot digital asset issues across related systems

Requirements We Look For:   

• 2+ years of experience using an enterprise digital asset management system for a large client or company
• 2+ years of experience in eCommerce business, B2B preferred
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
• Ability to clearly communicate with people of different experience levels and backgrounds
• Strong communication/interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with users to gather data, resolve issues, and develop effective working relationships across the organization
• Proficiency in managing data with Microsoft Excel (using advanced functions, such as filters, formulas, pivot tables, etc.)
• PIM experience desired (InRiver, Salsify, etc.)
• Other responsibilities and projects as assigned.
