QUALIFICATIONS
As a PIM Product Analyst, you will join the Digital Operations Team, reporting to the Senior Manager Product Information (PIM). You will be responsible for ensuring products are classified correctly, that the product data gathered from our multiple vendors meets quality standards and that data is correctly incorporated into a unified data model within our Product Information Management System. The PIM Product Analyst will be pivotal in ensuring that the product information presented in our eCommerce customer portals is accurately represented and follows our company style guide.
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing product data, an aptitude for research and strong attention to detail.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Item Onboarding and Enrichment
- Classify products to correct categories
- Link SKUs to products to create variations
- Enrich SKUs with product data and content from authorized sources (manufacturer websites, contacting vendors)
- Normalize data to ensure values conform to internal standards
- Approve newly created products for release in channels
- Data Correction
- Correct erroneous product data and images based on user requests
- Identify product data issues and proactively make necessary data revisions
- Create and perform data cleansing activities, including identifying and resolving product data and processing issues
- Perform data integrity audits as needed
- Maintenance
- Ensure the accuracy of all product data within the PIM including product descriptions, images, attribute values and documents needed to support online sales
- Review product data needs and help development processes and associated documentation to address those needs
- Establish and enforce product classification standards
- Maintain Style Guide, Preferred Term List and Decision Log to ensure consistency in data presentation across system
- Create and maintain mapping to various sales platforms
KNOWLEDGE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years of experience in eCommerce business, B2B preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized with the ability to drive multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Skilled researcher adept at synthesizing information and digging deep to find the accurate answer
- Proficiency in managing data with Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets (using advanced functions, such as filters, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
