Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history. Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector is seeking a Principal Financial Analyst/Senior Principal Financial Analyst. This position will report to the Manager of Financial Reporting and perform financial reporting activities for our Defense Systems Sector. This high impact role will work closely with sector, division, and program business management teams. The position will require sitting onsite in McLean, Virginia. Position Responsibilities and duties include: Assist with the sector monthly and quarterly financial close deliverables, Coordinate and consolidate financial statements, Maintain month-end closing documentation, Assist with preparation of year-end financial reporting packages and tax packages, Prepare financial statement analytics and other quarterly management reports, Provide audit support related to SOX, internal, and external financial statement audits, Support Financial Reporting SOX compliance and maintain evidence of the operation of controls, Provide financial reporting support for special projects.
