What You Will Do:
The Appian Developers at Guidehouse design, develop, test, and deploy Appian applications for our clients. Our developers work with a team of experienced developers to create innovative solutions that meet the needs of our clients.  Â
- Design and develop Appian applications according to client requirements
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)Â
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test Appian applicationsÂ
- Participate in design and code reviewsÂ
- Collaborate with business analysts to understand client needs and requirementsÂ
- Ensure Appian applications are scalable, reliable, and performantÂ
- Troubleshoot and debug Appian applicationsÂ
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Appian features and capabilitiesÂ
- Participate in Appian certification programs and maintain Appian certificationÂ
- Create technical documentation and user guidesÂ
What You Will Need:
- US Citizenship is contractually required for this position
- US equivalent Bachelor's degree
- Ability to achieve Appian certifications upon hireÂ
- Minimum ONE (1) year of professional and Appian development experienceÂ
- Understanding of Appian platform, including Appian SAIL, Process Modeler, and RulesÂ
- Experience working in Agile development methodologiesÂ
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsÂ
- Interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiationÂ
- Understanding of Appian integrations with 3rd party applicationsÂ
- Client-facing written and oral communications skills, relationship focus, and strong technical and business acumenÂ
- Selected candidate must be able to work in hybrid environment
What Would Be Nice To Have:
- Active Appian Associate Developer certificationsÂ
- Experience with Java, SQL, and web servicesÂ
- Work experience on a software development project in a federal government setting or with Federal Acquisition ManagementÂ
- An ‘early adopter’ mindset for new Appian platform featuresÂ
