Northrop Grumman is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to Vice President, to support the Space Systems Business Development (BD) organization, reporting directly to the Sector VP, Business Development. This position will be located in Melbourne, FL or McLean, VA. Keys to success include: Collaborative approach, good listening and communication skills, and discretion interacting with leadership and representing the Space BD leadership team. Collaborate effectively with executive leadership administrative team to support tasks, ensuring seamless communication and coordination across functions while encouraging partnership and development. Proactive mindset, self-motivated, well organized and detail oriented for fast-paced environment with high expectations, diverse assignments, and competing priorities. Ability to independently solve administrative issues and conflicts, with limited guidance or contact with supported principal in a timely fashion. In this job, you will: Provide administrative support to include: Travel planning, Managing expense reports, Meeting planning and execution, Schedule development and tracking, Budget support, Coordinating events/meetings with other Administrative Assistants & Business Operations leads, Prepare presentation materials for executive leadership teams. Support logistics planning and execution of meetings of varying classification levels that may span multiple computer networks (i.e. unclassified and classified computer systems). Support engagements of a sensitive nature inside and outside the company. Proactively manage calendar, travel, and scheduling conflicts, ensuring the team is well supported. Other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent with 8+ years of professional administrative support in a law firm or other corporate setting. Extensive experience with timely and accurate expense reporting for complex travel scenarios. Advanced experience in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Excel), SharePoint (or equivalent), and intranet/internet proficiency. Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to juggle multiple tasks and competing priorities across a geographically dispersed team. Experience interfacing with executive level contacts (internal as well as external). Experience coordinating Outlook calendars, conference calls, and shared applications. Experience coordinating on and off-site meetings and/or events. Experience and proficiency with Concur or SAP for travel and expense reporting systems. Must have DoD Secret security clearance at the time of application. Preferred Qualifications: Active TS/SCI clearance preferred. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
