Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Manager 3 Data Strategy & Analytics in Melbourne, FL. This hands on leader will oversee a team responsible for establishing a culture of data-driven decision making and creating business value through promoting the application of data analytics techniques across a broad range of business areas. They will regularly interact with key stakeholders to identify, develop, and deploy data analytics systems that are aligned to our strategic roadmap. The successful candidate must be entrepreneurial and a self-starter with the ability to challenge the status quo. Job Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Develop and implement a program-specific Data strategy that supports the Enterprise Data Strategy. Build and lead a high performing team of data architects, engineers, and scientists. Manage Data Science practices for prescriptive, predictive, diagnostic, descriptive, and cognitive analytics through automation, storage elasticity, and on-demand self service provisioning of all data types and lifecycles. Enable storing, searching, processing, and securing of extremely large structured or unstructured data sets. Proactively identify issues and inefficiencies within the business to develop and deploy solutions. Drive the adoption of data analysis methodologies across program operations for improved performance analysis. Lead the monitoring and analysis of operational data to identify trends, issues and opportunities, and provide recommendations/solutions. Actively engage with program leaders and key stakeholders to identify and understand operational problems. Design and manage the data infrastructure, network, and system automation. User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX) design and development.
