Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Associate Engineer Systems / Engineer Systems to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Systems Engineering organization. This role is located in Melbourne, FL. **This role may be filled at either the Associate Engineer Systems or Engineer Systems level, based on qualifications listed below** The selected candidate will perform system and lab integration for the Research & Advanced Design (R&AD) division, performing prototyping and demonstrations for a variety of technology maturation projects. Key Responsibilities: Integrate network architectures and technologies in support of experiments and demos for various captures. Leverage knowledge/experience in information technology to help build and troubleshoot labs. Support technology demonstrations and presentations to internal and external stakeholders. Must have an active DoD Secret clearance or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation). Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company. Basic Qualifications (Engineer Systems): Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) discipline AND 2 years of related professional/military experience , OR a Master’s of Science degree in a STEM discipline AND 0 years of related professional/military experience , OR a STEM Ph.D. AND 0 years of related professional/military experience. Must have experience working across multiple engineering disciplines.
