Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Associate Engineer Systems / Engineer Systems to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Systems Engineering organization. This role is located in Melbourne, FL. **This role may be filled at either the Associate Engineer Systems or Engineer Systems level, based on qualifications listed below** The selected candidate will perform system and lab integration for the Research & Advanced Design (R&AD) division, performing prototyping and demonstrations for a variety of technology maturation projects. Key Responsibilities: Integrate network architectures and technologies in support of experiments and demos for various captures. Leverage knowledge/experience in information technology to help build and troubleshoot labs. Support technology demonstrations and presentations to internal and external stakeholders. Basic Qualifications (Associate Engineer Systems): Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) discipline AND 0 years of related professional/military experience , OR a Master’s of Science degree in a STEM discipline AND 0 years of related professional/military experience , OR a STEM Ph.D. AND 0 years of related professional/military experience. Must have experience with networking and cybersecurity, such as working with and maintaining IT infrastructure (hardware and/or software). Must have experience working across multiple engineering disciplines. Must have an active DoD Secret clearance or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation). Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company. Basic Qualifications (Engineer Systems): Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) discipline AND 2 years of related professional/military experience , OR a Master’s of Science degree in a STEM discipline AND 0 years of related professional/military experience , OR a STEM Ph.D. AND 0 years of related professional/military experience. Must have experience with networking and cybersecurity, such as working with and maintaining IT infrastructure (hardware and/or software). Must have experience working across multiple engineering disciplines.
