Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) is seeking 2 qualified Principal Program Cost Schedule Control Analysts (Level 3) responsible for discretionary investment planning and analysis. This position will be located on-site in Melbourne, FL or San Diego, CA and and offers a partial teleworking schedule (half on site/half remote). This Program Control Analyst position will provide cost management support for MDC2 (Multi Domain Command and Control) discretionary investment portfolio and Special Projects. This position’s primary duties will be supporting the day to day operations for division Capital and Non-Contractual Technical Activity (NCTA) projects, to include Marketing and Sales (M&S), Bid and Proposal (B&P), and Independent Research and Development (IRAD). Analyst’s tasks will include providing weekly reporting of actuals, variance explanations to management, coordinating indirect IWOs, coordinating and tracking material open commitments, etc. This position will also support top level Cost Management special projects such as program and functional allocation overview and analysis and Independent EAC analysis. This is a fast paced high energy environment that requires a self-motivated employee to join the team. The ideal candidate will possess the following traits and abilities: ability to use financial systems, be a fast learner and thorough planner. This person will develop and implement solutions of moderate scope and complexity; analyze variances/trends and develop new methods and process techniques; work under very general supervision while completing numerous assignments per schedule and elevating potential issues to ensure proper management focus; exert some influence on peers and internal customers; good interpersonal skills while representing group on special projects out of own group.
