Northrop Grumman’s Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Sr. Principal Mission Management Capability Integration Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in defining the future. This position will be located in Melbourne, FL. The selected engineer will perform as a member of an interdisciplinary team on a key effort to develop novel and innovative solutions to advanced technical problems. The successful engineer will join a multi-discipline team to integrate mission management solutions with a suite of sensor models and tools in a virtualized simulation environment. This includes 3rd party integration in conjunction with key suppliers. The Mission Management Capability Integration engineer in this role will be responsible for one or more of the following: Software integration with simulation sensor models, Identifies fixes to code to support integration, Identifies adaptations to existing software to support native sensor interfaces, Development of test cases scripts and experiments, Development of test procedures, artifacts and results, Exercise virtual simulations and test cases with software-in-the-loop, Operate simulation applications to support virtual simulations with software-in-the-loop. This role is expected to Support the Mission Systems IPT to test end-to-end system functionality.
