Recruiter/Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:
- Advance knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint required.
- Ability to work independently; demonstrating accuracy, reliability, and problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels within an organization and with others outside of the organization (i.e. clients, vendors, business partners, community leaders).
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, verbal and written communication skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Performs other related duties and assignments as required and as assigned by supervisor or manager.
- Post job openings and review applications.
- Conduct initial screening interviews for potential candidates.
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand job requirements and expectations.
- Coordinate and manage new hire paperwork, including onboarding packets and orientation meetings.
- Administer and manage the timekeeping app for new employees.
- Provide payroll backup support as needed.
- Track new hire offers, interact with candidates, Human Resources and the training team to ensure a successful onboarding experience
- Help to plan and execute recruiting events.
- Evaluates applicants makes recommendations and extends offers of employment.
- Develop pipelines of qualified candidates for present and future openings.Â
- Ensure compliance throughout the recruiting and hiring process with all applicable policies, procedures and laws.
- Analyzes recruitment process and offers recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Conduct new hire orientations
- Prescreen applicants over the phone and in person.
- Word processing and spreadsheet support for administration.
- Supports Sales and Marketing.
- Assists and coordinates the creation of sales, marketing, and communications materials, including providing website content.
- Works independently to perform advanced, diversified, and complex secretarial duties.
- Schedules and maintains calendar of appointments, meetings, and travel itineraries; coordinates related arrangements.
Requirements for Recruiter/Administrative Assistant:
- Associate degree in related field
- 2-3 years of experience as a recruiter
- Effective communication skills
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with Microsoft Office suite
- High-energy and passion
- Demonstrated ability to meet quotas
