Software Engineer

Job Description:

Software Engineer (fka Product Engineer) with CarsArrive Network, Inc. located in Mesa, AZ. Responsible for the design and development of new business applications and maintaining existing applications; work with Business Analysts and Database Administrators in the design of applications; Perform application development using Javascript, VueJS, PHP (Laravel), TypeScript, Node JS; Material Design, Bootstrap, Tailwind, Html/Css; Service API development, Rest/Json, Soap; Obj-c, Swift, Java, Golang; MySql or MS SQL, relational and non-relational databases (NoSql). Conduct Automated Testing (Unit, Integration, Functional). Create microservice-based solutions that span customer-facing web sites to client-focused integration solutions through Serverless and Cloud functions; deliver these software solutions on modern
cloud systems using automated system such as AWS, GCP, or Azure Cloud environments; work in a stable business environment and using Agile software delivery processes and DevOps; Kubernetes/Containerization with strong organizational and management support; translate functional requirements into software application designs and implement the designs. The position is a hybrid position at employer’s discretion. Must be able to work at CarsArrive’s offices in Mesa, AZ as needed.

Requirements:
Requires a Master’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, or related technical field and 6 months of experience as a DevOps engineer, or in software engineering, or a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, or related technical field and 2 years of experience as a DevOps engineer, or software engineering.
In lieu of six months of experience with a Master’s degree or two years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree, employer will accept coursework in software engineering.

Must possess a minimum of 6 months of experience or coursework with a master’s degree, or 2 years of experience or coursework with a bachelor’s degree with each of the following:

• Javascript, VueJS, PHP (Laravel), TypeScript, Node JS
• Material Design, Bootstrap, Tailwind, Html/Css
• Service API development, Rest/Json, Soap
• Obj-c, Swift, Java, Golang
• MySql or MS SQL, relational and non-relational databases (NoSql)
• Automated Testing (Unit, Integration, Functional)
• gile software delivery processes / DevOps
• Kubernetes/Containerization
• Microservices Architecture, Serverless, Cloud functions
• AWS, GCP, or Azure Cloud environments

Experience may have been gained before or after obtaining degree.
