The Manager, Global Environmental, Health, & Safety is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the company's environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs. This role is key to strengthening and fostering a culture of safety across our global locations and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The manager will lead the development of a consistent safety program framework with safety training initiatives, conduct audits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to realize our aspirations of an injury free work environment.

Pay Range: $130,000 - $150,000

 

What’s the Job?

  • Develop a comprehensive 3-year roadmap of safety programs and processes that will advance Graco toward the vision of an injury free environment.
  • Implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Develop safety training programs and materials for all levels of staff.
  • Develop safety training programs and materials for all levels of staff.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with all EHS regulations.
  • Lead, mentor, manage, and staff of safety and EHS specialists, and an indirect team of operations team members who have safety as part of their accountability, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and promoting a culture of excellence. 

 

What’s Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, EHS, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Health and Safety, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent leadership skills: 2+ years of team leadership experience preferred.   
  • Demonstrated ability to lead safety initiatives, build strong teams, and promote a proactive safety culture across multiple locations or departments.
  • Strong knowledge of Safety, EHS regulations, industry and consensus standards and best practices.
  • Certification (e.g., CSP, CIH, or equivalent) is preferred.
