As an intern in Commercial Education & Training, you’ll be a valuable contributing member of the team developing a training course for our Commercial distributor audience. This involves using best practices to:

•       Assess the scope of the training

•       Work with subject matter experts to determine the content of the training

•       Arrange the content of the training into the course

•       Use a variety of e-learning and visual graphics platforms to create the course

•       Determine the test questions for the course

•       Assist the team in planning for the evaluation of the course
 

At the end of your internship, you will have a completed training course that is sure to educate learners well and make a difference. This course can be used in a portfolio as well (as long as proprietary/confidential information is removed), resulting in a great show-and-tell piece for your job interviews later!

  

What Do You Need? 

To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements: 

·       Experience & Education: You should be actively pursuing a degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, or related program

·       Technology Skills Example: Intermediate computer skills, experience with Articulate Rise or Articulate Storyline is a plus, experience with Camtasia/Photoshop or other video/graphics software is a plus

·        Performance Characteristics Example: Strong organizational and self-management skills with a high attention to detail, effective written and oral communication, creative systems-thinking approach to adult learning and education, ability to initiate and maintain collaborative relationship with stakeholders and subject matter experts

Competitive Pay – anticipated pay $18-25.00 per hour.
