Nursing Assistant - Med Surg/Tele (1N), Full Time, Nights

In this role you will be responsible for: 

• Assists patients with activities of daily living such as feeding, toileting and hygiene in the Med Surg Tele Unit 
• Provides basic nursing care to non-acutely and acutely ill patients
• Assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment
• Works under the directions and supervision of the registered nurse in charge of the team and/or unit
• Answers phones and call lights
• Ensures unit is stocked with supplies
• Assists patient transporter as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Shifts: Day shift, 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.

Experience:

2 or more years of nursing assistant experience (strongly preferred)

Certifications:

Certified Nursing Assistant (preferred)

Current BCLS certification, required

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Ability to read and communicate effectively in English 

Basic computer knowledge
