Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills):
• High School Diploma or GED
• Knowledge of computer systems and spreadsheets necessary to perform job duties
• Business-level proficiency in both English and Japanese languages
Description of Duties and Responsibilities
• Provides consecutive interpretation support on the production floor and professional meetings, including video
conference
• Translates documents from English to Japanese and vice versa
o Predominately from Japanese to English
• Performs other duties as assigned
• 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM shift with possible overtime and possible interpretation support after hours
Skills and Abilities:
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to maintain a high level of flexibility and to be able to adapt to changing requirements and priorities
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
• Ability to make sound business decisions, exercise good judgment, and maintain a high level of motivation
• Ability to utilize effective written and verbal communication and interaction skills with people at all levels in a
multicultural, multinational environment
• Strong written & verbal skills in both Japanese and English
Supervisory Responsibilities:
• Will not supervise
Software:
• Basic experience required in Windows, MSWord, PowerPoint, and Excel

• Ability to work for long periods of time while sitting
• Ability to stand for long periods of time on the production floor
• Visual ability to work accurately with detailed information and a computer screen
