Position Title: Quality Technician - 3rd Shift

Wage: $18.00 - $20.00/hour

Shift: 3rd

Hours: 12:00am - 8:00am

Quality Technician Responsibilities:
- Ensure customer specifications are met by performing statistical process control, capability studies and analysis
- Create and maintain data records
- Ensure customer specifications are met by performing statistical process control and reporting non-conforming results to manufacturing and other appropriate processes
- Perform/conduct capability studies and analysis as directed by the Quality Control Manager  
- Drive calibration program
- Hourly check pin maintenance (SPIRIT) – weigh, measure, test and summarize inspection data for analysis
- Receive inspection inserts 
- Complete 2-hour inspections – weight (once/shift), color verification (once/shift, s/u), dimensional as needed
- Document and maintain record of findings
- Retain/check raw material color chips 

Requirements for Quality Technician:
- High School Diploma minimum. Undergraduate preferred
- At least five years of related experience (calibration, measuring tolerances and ISO)
- Working knowledge of current measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, comparators and coordinate measuring machines (operation and programming)
- Working knowledge of statistical process control
- Basic math, computer and blueprint skills
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Multitask oriented and ability to work with teams or self-governed
