Our client, who utilizes metal spinning and forming to solve its customers’ greatest manufacturing challenges.is seeking a Production Control & Logistics Lead to join their team. As a Production Control & Logistics Lead, you will be part of the contract manufacturing location, supporting the Supply Chain/Materials Team. This person does need to be onsite in New Berlin, WI.

 

Job Title: Production Control & Logistics Lead 

Location: New Berlin, WI 53151

Pay Range: $68k-$85k + 10% Bonus 

 

What’s the Job?

  • Reporting to the Materials Manager, the Production Control & Logistics Lead will work with Manufacturing to manage work-in-progress (WIP) and plan future work to meet financial plan.
  • Use ERP Tools (MRP based) as well as tools outside of ERP to monitor demand, manage WIP, and create required by manufacturing, such as job routings that will need to be released with adequate quantities and due dates to support due dates and the companies finical plan
  • Create appropriate documents including packing slips, shipping labels, Commercial Invoices (CI), Shipper’s Letter of Instruction (SLI), etc.
  • Prepare for and participate in an efficient annual physical inventory with minimal quantity adjustments

 

What’s Needed?

  • Experience working with Epicor strongly preferred
  • 3-5 years of logistics experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 2-4 years of production planning experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or other related degree
  • Strong preference for prior contract manufacturing experience, as well as third party logistics
  • Proficient knowledge of international shipping requirements
