Our Food and Beverage Supervisor will require great communication, organizational, and leadership skills, in addition to basic culinary skills. The desired candidate will have supervisory experience in a quick service style restaurant or high-volume kitchen. The Food and Beverage Supervisor will be primarily responsible for the Food and Beverage Operations throughout the park. In addition, the desired candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all Schlitterbahn F&B standards, company values and daily goals are achieved.

Responsibilities:
- Makes guest internal/external service and guest satisfaction a priority in every aspect of the job.
- Responds quickly, intelligently, decisively and in accordance with established emergency action plan.
- Ensures that all Schlitterbahn F&B standards, company values and daily goals are achieved.
- Monitors cleaning rotation schedule on the daily basis.
- Assists the team with cashiering and cooking duties during high volume times.
- Trains and develops staff.
- Monitors portioning and quality of food preparation to control food and supply costs.
- Implements and enforce FIFO at all times.
- Ensures cleanliness of food stand areas; stock and prepare food items as required.
- Monitors volume in food locations to maximize productivity and keep labor costs within budget.
- Verifies and supervising food locations are prepared for the next day.
- Maintains proper training, attendance, counseling and termination documentation.
- Creates and maintains a culture of safe work practices.
- Conduct and/or assists with all aspects of inventory control, including ordering, receiving, counting and forecasting.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be friendly and outgoing with a high customer service acumen.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of Food and Beverage experience.
- 2+ years in a supervisory role.
- Food Safety certification is preferred.
- Must be willing and able to work long summer hours, holidays and weekends throughout the year.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office, including Word & Excel and an understanding of basic accounting policies and procedures.
Physical Requirements:
- Climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, picking, pinching, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motion of the hands, wrists and/or fingers.
- Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes.
- Exposure to environmental conditions such as rain, direct/indirect sun and heat for extended periods of time.
- Subject to both environmental conditions. Activities occur inside and outside.
- Subject to extreme heat. Temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour. Consideration should be given to the effect of other environmental conditions, such as wind and humidity.
- Subject to sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above ambient noise level.
- Subject to hazards. Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals.
- Exposure to multiple, high-stress situation at any given time and must maintain a high level of alertness.
