• Patient Demographics: Emergency Department Patients
• Annual Volume: 35,600 visits
• Patients Per Day: 98
• EMS Percentage: 12.4%
• Admitted Patients Percentage: 7.9%

• Licenses: Active Louisiana State License or IMLC
• Certifications: ATLS, ACLS, PALS Required
• Board Certification:
• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
• Alternative Boards (ABPS) Not Accepted
• Experience: Residency Trained in EM/FM/IM
• Other Qualifications: Must meet privileging requirements DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide emergency medical care to patients
• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients in the emergency department
• Perform required emergency procedures
• Work scheduled shifts as per staffing model
• Utilize Cerner Community Works EMR for documentation and care management
• Participate in orientation, EMR training, and shadow shifts as required
