We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join one of our Fortune 500 clients.
Job Description:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems. You will assist with installing and modifying building equipment, ensuring all systems are functioning efficiently and in compliance with safety regulations. This role requires collaboration with the team to address work orders, follow standard procedures, and solve problems using established methods. Under close supervision and guidance, you will perform your tasks in a structured and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance inspections to identify and resolve potential problems.
- Assist in the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
- Review and complete assigned work orders, ensuring accurate tracking of task completion.
- Ensure efficient operation of building systems to support energy management goals.
- Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Follow established procedures to address routine maintenance issues and provide clear, concise communication.
- Perform tasks and duties according to defined methods, processes, and instructions.
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of related experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will also be considered.
- Ability to meet physical demands, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying heavy loads of 50 lbs or more.
- Ability to follow work routines and standards, with strong attention to detail.
- Clear and effective communication skills to exchange basic information with team members.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills and a problem-solving mindset.
