Job Summary
Within FreeWheel, Beeswax’s Data Platform Engineering (DPE) team is responsible for building features across our demand-side logging and reporting products, as well. The team also plays a critical role in driving the success of complex, cross-team initiatives that leverage Beeswax data. Your role as a Product Manager for this team includes, but is not limited to, managing the pricing, packaging, delivery, and documentation of new product ideas for the DPE team.This job is an individual contributor role that does not have direct responsibility for supervision or performance management of staff.Job Description

Product Management
- Teams up with product development to deliver high quality products on time.
- Writes highly articulate and carefully considered product specs.
- Participates in the strategic planning for enhancements to product content, pricing, packaging and features.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Experience writing SQL queries and reading/writing Python and Java/Scala is a plus, but not required.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the major components of the advertising technology ecosystem and the various industry-level forces ad tech companies are facing in 2024.
- Demonstrate an understanding of basic data infrastructure design principles and/or familiarity with working on products that use any/all of the following technologies: Databricks, Snowflake, Looker, Airflow, dbt.
Core Responsibilities
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to launch new services, features and enhancements on time and within budget.
- Gathers input to define product concepts. Justifies expenditures for products. Defines and analyzes markets. Evaluates technologies. Develops detailed product features and requirements and develops implementation plans.
- Participates in product modification, cost reduction, margin analysis, advertising and promotion, forecasting, product positioning and pricing strategies.
- Accountable for profit and loss or budgetary management for assigned products.
- Directs the product planning and scheduling process according to sales volume, inventory requirements and materials availability.
- Establishes and implement policies and procedures needed to achieve goals.
- Develops, mentors and trains Specialists to ensure department work performance and objectives are met.
- Manages, gathers and analyzes competitive intelligence data for product lines.
- Provides product support and documentation and develops product materials.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Salary:
Primary Location Pay Range: $133,272.03 - $199,908.04
Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.
