Our client in the security industry is seeking a Qualified Security Analyst to join their team. As a Qualified Security Analyst, you will be part of the security team supporting clients in their compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members.

Job Title: Qualified Security Analyst

Location: New York, NY (Remote)

Pay Range: 190-200K Annually 

What's the Job?

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' information systems, policies, and procedures to determine compliance with PCI DSS standards.
  • Identify and assess vulnerabilities in the security infrastructure and recommend remediation measures to address potential risks.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business processes, systems architecture, and security controls. Provide guidance on achieving and maintaining PCI DSS compliance.
  • Perform detailed audits of security controls, processes, and documentation. Prepare and maintain accurate and thorough assessment reports for clients.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Current QSA Certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with multiple security (NIST, ITIL, CobiT, ISO) and regulatory (HIPAA, GLBA, SOX, etc.) frameworks.
  • 3-5 years of consulting experience preferred.
  • Experience or familiarity with Cloud environments and/or Cloud Security, Application Security, and Information systems security.
