Requirements Atlanticare Reginal Medical Center is looking for a locum Orthopedic Trauma Surgery PhysicianSchedule:24/7 coverage 6/15-8/15- in house 7am-5pm.Call 5pm-7am. Intermittent coverage 8/15-9/10 weekends call day shiftOrtho clinic - One half day about 5-10 pts for indigent population.Call Schedule: 24 hour call coverage Call Ratio: 1: 3 10 days of call coverage per month at minimum. Possibly 14 days of call. for Coverage: Loss of Physician coveragePractice Setting: Hospital based level 2 trauma centerAverage Number of Surgical Cases Per Day HOSPITAL: 3-5Average Number of Patients Per Day OFFICE/CLINIC: Clinc day 1 half day per week average 6 ptsTrauma Level/Designation: level 2Documentation System/EMR: CernerNumber of Operating Rooms: 7Number of Orthopedic Surgeons in Practice: private practice providers only 10Patient Age Demographic: No peds at this time.Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 60 daysPractice Types/Settings Required:Orthopedic Surgical Cases ADULTOrthopedic Surgical Cases GERIATRICOrthopedic Surgical Cases PEDIATRICHospitalGeneral Orthopedics treatment of fractures dislocations amputations deformities and tumors of bones and joints:SurgicalNon-SurgicalAdditional Procedures: General orthopedic trauma careTotal Joint Replacement: HipJoint Revision or Repair: HipPercutaneous Disc Surgery: NoArthroscopy: NoCall to cover two locations700 casesannually
