About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Occupational Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens position at an Occupational/On-Site Clinic in New Jersey. This 20-day assignment starts on 04/18/2025, with a full-time schedule Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will be comfortable administering flu vaccines, providing BLS injury care, conducting drug screens, and performing non-DOT physicals. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for managing a variety of occupational health needs, ensuring workplace safety, and promoting employee well-being.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:Â
• Administer influenza vaccines to employeesÂ
• Provide BLS (Basic Life Support) injury careÂ
• Conduct drug screening testsÂ
• Perform non-DOT physical examinationsÂ
• Assess and treat work-related injuries and illnessesÂ
• Develop and implement occupational health programsÂ
• Educate employees on workplace safety and health practicesÂ
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using Coriety softwareÂ
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers and company managementÂ
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policiesÂ
• Participate in safety committee meetings as neededÂ
• Provide health counseling and wellness education to employeesÂ
• Manage return-to-work programs for injured or ill employeesÂ
• Stay updated on occupational health regulations and best practices
Additional Information:Â
• Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in New JerseyÂ
• Experience in occupational health or urgent care preferredÂ
• Familiarity with Coriety software is beneficial but not requiredÂ
• Strong clinical skills in occupational medicine proceduresÂ
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with employees and managementÂ
• Ability to work independently in an on-site clinic settingÂ
• Comfortable with a fast-paced work environment
 • Flexibility to adapt to the specific needs of the workforceÂ
• Possibility of assignment extension beyond the initial 20 days
