About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens position at an Occupational/On-Site Clinic in New Jersey. This 20-day assignment starts on 04/18/2025, with a full-time schedule Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will be comfortable administering flu vaccines, providing BLS injury care, conducting drug screens, and performing non-DOT physicals. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for managing a variety of occupational health needs, ensuring workplace safety, and promoting employee well-being.

Facility Type: Occupational/On-Site Clinic 

Start Date: 04/18/2025 

LOA: 20 days (with chance of extension) 

Provider Type Needed: Occupational Medicine Nurse Practitioner 

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM; Thursday 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM


Job Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Administer influenza vaccines to employees 

• Provide BLS (Basic Life Support) injury care 

• Conduct drug screening tests 

• Perform non-DOT physical examinations 

• Assess and treat work-related injuries and illnesses 

• Develop and implement occupational health programs 

• Educate employees on workplace safety and health practices 

• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using Coriety software 

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers and company management 

• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies 

• Participate in safety committee meetings as needed 

• Provide health counseling and wellness education to employees 

• Manage return-to-work programs for injured or ill employees 

• Stay updated on occupational health regulations and best practices


Additional Information: 

• Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in New Jersey 

• Experience in occupational health or urgent care preferred 

• Familiarity with Coriety software is beneficial but not required 

• Strong clinical skills in occupational medicine procedures 

• Excellent communication skills for interacting with employees and management 

• Ability to work independently in an on-site clinic setting 

• Comfortable with a fast-paced work environment

 • Flexibility to adapt to the specific needs of the workforce 

• Possibility of assignment extension beyond the initial 20 days
