Where you will serve as the instructional lead for faculty training experiences, work closely with department SMEs to design efficient, effective training programs, and schedule, present, and report on training activities and efficacy. You will make an impact by:

  • Providing expertise and support to online and blended academic instruction through the development, presentation, and assessment of faculty development and training.
  • Participating in the review and assessment of online and blended faculty development needs and providing guidance to academic leaders during the faculty development plan process.
  • Planning for the appropriate resources of the department.
  • Planning and providing training, coaching, and mentoring of faculty and other team members, and stakeholders.
  • Assuring expected learning outcomes correspond to faculty development and training objectives and curriculum.
  • Administering the creation, maintenance, and auditing of faculty professional development reports and software, including TeachPoint FPD tracking SaaS and MaxKnowledge.
  • Developing, staffing, archiving, and managing the creation of webinars and other learning experiences as needed for inclusion in the online and blended faculty web portal.
  • Planning and producing self-guided learning resources and works collaboratively with the director and faculty to curate and produce a periodic, faculty development electronic newsletter.
  • Serving as an Instructor and managing the FTC-101, FTC-101T, and FTC-102 course enrollment process.

 

 

Your experience includes:

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience planning, teaching, tracking, and assessing all modalities of instruction and teaching in the Blackboard or other learning management systems and video conferencing platforms.
  • Demonstrated collaborative team skills and ability to manage projects and lead highly effective faculty development experiences.
  • Proven ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technology and implement instructional strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience using dashboard, survey/polling, gamification software, education technologies, and the Microsoft 360 suite of applications to collect, track, and report data.
  • Experience in the design and editing of images, infographics, websites, videos, audio recordings, and animations with the Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro) and Adobe Spark.
  • Ability to implement new processes, procedures, and standards in an environment of continuous improvement.
  • Ability to travel/drive locally and regionally on an as needed basis.

 

 

Education/Certifications:

  • Master’s degree in Education, Higher Education Leadership, Distance Education, Curriculum & Instruction, Educational Technology, or close related field required.

 

 

Compensation:

  • Outside of CA:  $66,836.70 - $96,966.26
  • Within CA:        $76,172.62 - $110,439.69
