Pharmacy Location: 960 W Craig Rd. North Las Vegas, NV

Hours of Operation: 40 hours a week from Monday - Saturday, 7:30 am - 7:00pm (pharmacy schedule). This position includes benefits.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Interpret physicians' prescriptions, create order, access/inputs/retrieve prescription information and verify reimbursement eligibility
  • Support solid focus on providing a superior level of customer service
  • Support the maintenance of consistent inventory levels reflective of plan approved formulary
  • Maintain prescriptions in a manner that complies with all legal requirements, including OBRA’90
  • Provide accurate and consistent service levels, focusing on timely and accurate medication distribution
  • Coordinate with other departments and team members within Optum to provide maximum level of service
  • Ensure adherence and compliance with all state and federal regulations pertaining to the Pharmacy
  • Exhibit compliant and ethical behavior in the performance of job responsibilities, including complying with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations, Optum Code of Conduct, Business Ethics Policies and Procedures and other policies and procedures applicable to the position

Required Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Nevada
  • 3+ years of pharmacy related experience (including retail pharmacy)
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with computer and Windows PC applications including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications 
  • Flexibility to support other sites within the Las Vegas area as needed
  • Ability to wear a mask during working hours if needed
  • 18 years of age or older

Preferred Qualification:

  • National Technician Certification

 

The salary range for this role is $16.00 to $28.85 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
