US - Lead Technical Writer

Manpower is looking for the best talent in Northford, CT for a Lead Technical Writerposition.

Shift: Mon-Fri. 8:00am - 5:00pm

Pay rate: $40/hr

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days on-site)

Summary: 

Our client is looking for a skilled Technical Writer to join their team and support various written communication materials. This role involves creating:

• Technical articles, reports, and brochures
• Manuals for diverse documentation in an industrial setting
• Coordinating graphics display and document production

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field (preferred), with 6-8 years of experience OR
• A Bachelor’s Degree and extensive experience as a Technical Writer in industrial manufacturing or construction
• Expert knowledge of field concepts, practices, and procedures to effectively plan and achieve goals
• Proficiency in FrameMaker, Flare, InDesign, Adobe, and MadCap
• Solid working knowledge of Agile methodologies and Jira
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Native English speaker with excellent grammar skills

Additional Preferred Experience:

• Experience working with content management systems
