As an integral part of our multi-discipline engineering team in Advanced Weapons, you will be on the forefront of developing next generation solutions to protect technology for our nation’s warfighter. The ideal candidate will support one of our Advanced Programs as the lead for defining and architecting a secured missile weapon system. This position will require close collaboration with team members of other projects within the organization for security architecture designs as well as external partners and customers. We are looking for you to join our team as a Staff Configuration Analyst based in Northridge, CA (no teleworking). Job Responsibilities: Develop and administer configuration management activities related to planning, identification, change management, status accounting, and verification and audit. Develop and manage Configuration Management (CM) processes to maintain the integrity of the hardware and software as-designed and as-built configurations utilizing both PLM and ERP systems. Ability to analyze and develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Analyze proposed changes to product design documentation of various degrees of complexity to determine effect on overall product and system. Plan and coordinate preparation of project documentation, such as engineering drawings, production specifications and schedules, and contract modifications, to ensure customer contract requirements are met. Reviews contract to determine documentation required for each phase of project, such as Configuration Management Plans (CMP), Data Accession Lists (DAL), and Configuration Status Accounting (CSA), applying knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes. Reviews and analyzes released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities. Independently manage modification records (e.g., Change Request, Change Notice, Variance, etc.) across multiple programs. Review and maintain product data structure bill of material (BOM) alignment in an electronic environment (e.g., engineering bill of material (EBOM) and manufacturing bill of material (MBOM)). Create and manage product baselines, Technical Data Package (TDP), DAL, CSA and participate in configuration audits. Manage Configuration Review/Control Board (CRB/CCB) meetings and disseminate agendas and minutes in accordance with a program’s CM Plan.
