Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join their dynamic finance team.
Job Description:Ā As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing financial operations. You will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records, provide insightful analysis, and support strategic decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide detailed explanations for discrepancies.
- Oversee accounts payable functions.
- Perform cost accounting activities to ensure accurate product costing and inventory valuation.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Provide financial insights to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and other financial reporting requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorās degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification preferred.
- 2-3+ years of accounting experience in manufacturing or related industry.
- Public Accounting experience is highly desired.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
