About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Family Practice Physician for a locum tenens position at a healthcare facility in Oklahoma. This opportunity offers weekday shifts from 8am to 5pm, starting from 06/02/2025, for a 248-day coverage period. This role utilizes the RPMS system and offers potential for assignment extension.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm


Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Provide comprehensive primary care for chronic and acute illnesses 

• Manage urgent care cases including minor injuries and respiratory illnesses 

• Perform minor procedures such as splinting and suturing 

• Examine, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients 

• Handle cases involving COVID-19, cold, flu, bruises, concussions, scrapes, minor wounds, and fractures 

• Make appropriate referrals to other healthcare providers when necessary 

• Utilize RPMS system for patient documentation 

• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care 

• Adhere to facility guidelines and protocols
