Position: Heavy vehicle mechanic apprentice

We are a dynamic company, focused on growth and safety. GFL collects and processes waste, recycling and organic materials. We cover North America with over 20,000 employees. We are looking for an energetic and motivated full-time apprentice mechanic to support our growing company.

Roles and responsibilities:
 - As part of your duties, you will be responsible for general mechanics (electrical, hydraulic, air brake, component changes, road services, etc.);
- You will complete daily reports on work done and to be done;
- You will be responsible for notifying your superior of the date, time and duration of equipment and heavy truck outages;
- You will perform any other related tasks required by his/her immediate superior.

Qualifications and requirements :
- DEP in heavy vehicle mechanics, construction equipment mechanics or agricultural mechanics;
- P.E.P. card (Preventive Maintenance Program) would be an asset.
