Our client is seeking a Senior Payroll and Benefits Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer services and interpersonal communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.
 
Job Title: Senior Payroll and Benefits Specialist
Location: Orlando, Florida
Pay Range:$30.00/hour- $35.00/hour

What’s the Job?
The Audit Manager will be responsible for performing all necessary activities to process various payrolls, while working with the field offices to audit and input employment changes including benefits, taxation, and time files. The ideal candidate will have experience processing multi-state payrolls of various frequencies (i.e., weekly, bi-weekly) in the United States and Canada.

  • Perform any necessary audits on timesheets within the system to correct inaccurate hours, time types, etc.
  • Responsible for leading Absence administration including Paid Leaves and Paid Time Off
  • Assist in facilitating issues with time administrators (Field Administrative Services team)
  • Review and processing of all payroll-related tickets in a timely manner while ensuring appropriate backup documentation, accuracy, and obtaining necessary approvals as required.
  • Conduct audits of data changes and requests to ensure compliancy with company policy and practices.
What’s Needed?
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of multi-state payroll experience performing the essential payroll functions; 8+ years in lieu of degree.
  • Advanced MS Excel Skills
  • Understanding of IRS guidelines for Pre and Post tax deductions
  • Demonstrated proficiency in analyzing Information, financial reporting, conflict resolution, applicable state and federal laws.
  • Knowledge of Workday a plus
