Skills/Requirements

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of experience in in a privacy related field - security engineering, data engineering,compliance engineering etc.
• Secure System design and architecture experience.
• Experience developing service level features with TypeScript, Golang, Rust, C++ or JavaScript.
• API Descriptor specifications, such as Protocol Buffers, GraphQL or OpenAPI.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a CS/engineering or related technical discipline from a reputed academic institution.  Master’s preferred.
• Experience with GDPR, California regulations (CCPA) and other global regulations when it comes to security and privacy.
• Implementation of architecture for Security.
• Extensive knowledge and skills in data engineering and information security for cloud and IoT devices.
• Strong technical experience in some of the following areas: (1) Selection and integration of services in the AWS stack; (2) Kubernetes, ArgoCD (K8S controller) or (3) Data streaming architectures and methodologies.
• Strong ability to communicate complex technical and management information clearly and concisely.
• Positive, can-do attitude with a high degree of ownership and self-motivation to drive change.
• Entrepreneurial experience in a high growth technology focused company or startup 
• Experience with software products in the health and wellness industry.
• Availability to work outside of regular business hours to collaborate with global teams and travel to South Korea 2-4 times a year.

The approved base salary range for this position is $121,150 - $187,550. The actual base salary offered to a candidate may be higher than the approved range. This will vary depending on a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. This position is subject to a 30% Area Salary Differential (Cost of Living Adjustment) in the San Francisco Bay area. The approved base salary range including ASD for this position is $157,495- $243,815 depending on location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and a special project incentive.  Available benefits include medical, dental, vision and 401k.
