Security Operations Center Officer

As a Security Operations Center Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as communications hub for the Caltech Security department.
• Monitor global events and assess/communicate impact to a high-profile customer.
• Complete risk and intelligence driven reports to Caltech Security and other stakeholders.
• Receive calls for help/assistance from employees campuswide and respond appropriately.
• Provide support and participate in crisis mitigation and after-action reporting.
• Assist in sending company mass notifications.
• Monitor and communicate risks associated with supply chain assets.
• Monitor health of all Caltech Security platforms and applications
• Monitor access control and CCTV systems for alarms and see to appropriate response.
• Incident reporting, emergency dispatch, coordination with law enforcement, first responders
• Process, evaluate information received, and communicate with campus Security and response teams
• Collaborate with Security Operations and other business partners to meet operational goals.
• Assist Caltech Security Management with other tasks as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
