As a member of the ISC management team, this role understands the direction of the enterprise, collaborates with the rest of the management team to develop and execute short and long term business strategies. This leader is a broad thinker who works directly with corporate functions, divisions and ISC  personnel to drive continued growth and success of the Global ISC  and  the Enterprise.  As a senior finance leader, this position creates an environment of engagement and inclusion, directs  ISC Financial Planning and Analysis activities to meet core business objectives and drive business strategy, as well as leads and manages to Corporate financial management and planning requirements.  Receives direction from Managing Director of Global Ops FP&A and Senior ISC Management.

What Will You Do? Â
In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for the following responsibilities:​​​
Creates a finance environment that provides excellent service to its customers, is easy to do business with, has a sense of urgency, continuously improves, and quickly adapts to change.Â
Works with the FP&A Center of Excellence (COE) to coordinate analytical and reporting processes to effectively enable sound business decision-making.Â
Works on the annual and long-term strategic financial planning process, setting strategic objectives, and developing specific action plans to deliver on strategy.Â
Analyzes and outlines recommendations and alternatives for management on a wide variety of business opportunities, including the areas of capital expenditures, asset/liability management, lease vs. buy analysis.
Utilizes existing Business Intelligence (BI) tools to provide meaningful analysis around actual financial results as compared to budgets, forecasts and prior year results.Â
Implements, and manages an integrated plan for the accounting and financial control within ISC that is consistent with Corporate policies, procedures, and directives, and assures that generally accepted accounting principles are consistently applied.Â
Implements and manages a system of internal controls to ensure the safeguarding of assets, the integrity of financial results, SOX internal control compliance and the efficient functioning of the Finance department.Â
Works with plant finance managers to provide monthly management reporting of results in an effective efficient manner that is both used to manage the ISC but also provide information to the Toro Executive Team through CSF meetings and other forums.Â
Oversees projection process to meet ISC and corporate management requirements.  Projection process includes development of current forecasts of Manufacturing costs, SG&A spending, divisional allocations as well as balance sheet metrics.Â
Builds and maintains strong working relationships with key functional areas in Corporate, ISC and Divisions.Â
Engages with others across the organization to develop the best possible solutions for the Enterprise (breaks down silos).                                                                                          Â
Performs other required duties as needed in addition to the essential duties and responsibilities described above, to meet the changing needs of the organization.Â

What Do You Need? Â
To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:  ​
Bachelors of Arts or Science in Accounting, Finance or Business, required. MBA, CPA or CMA desirable.Â
Minimum 10 years of experience in financial and cost management, business planning and analysis with increasing scope and responsibility.Â
Minimum 5 years of direct leadership experience, preferably leading multiple layers.Â
Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.Â
Advanced knowledge of financial and accounting principles and practices.Â
Ability to communicate effectively to end users of all experience levels, in both oral and written communications.Â
Able to efficiently and effectively prioritize multiple tasks.Â
Critical thinker, with sound business judgment and exceptional business acumen.Â
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.Â
Proven business and financial strategist.Â
Able to maintain composure in stressful situations, in a highly interactive role.Â
Customer-focused and results-oriented individual with a bias for action that permeates to the entire group.Â
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills vital to anticipating, investigating and resolving issues.Â
