At OneMain, Assistant Managers assist Branch Managers in creating a work environment that fosters the ability to deliver an exceptional customer experience by providing leadership and training for branch staff. Assistant Managers lead by example in providing personal loan solutions through underwriting decision making and collection activity. The Assistant Manager position serves as a developmental opportunity for future leadership roles within the branch network. Â

IN THE ROLEÂ
Deliver results related to individual and branch sales and collections goals as well as customer expectations Â
Develop new relationships – and maintain existing relationships - working with customers throughout the loan process and loan life cycle Â
Present financial solutions, based on customer needs, that meet their goals Â
Present customers withoptional insurance products available Â
Educate customers on the terms and conditions of their loan to ensure a clear understanding Â
Learn how to utilize credit underwriting techniques and sales tools Â
Manage the life cycle of the loan, including closing loans, collections activities, complying with all laws and regulations  Â
Assist in the training and coaching of Branch Team Members and provide interim leadership in Branch Manager absencesÂ

REQUIREMENTSÂ
HS Diploma/GEDÂ
Proven experience in achieving established business goals and objectivesÂ
Experience in financial services leadership Â
Ability to obtain Insurance Licensing within 6 months of start date if required by stateÂ
Â
PREFERREDÂ Â
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field Â
