About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Internal Medicine Physician for a locum tenens position at a Hospital in Arizona. This 120-day assignment begins on 06/09/2025 and offers a four-day work week, either Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing chronic care cases, including diabetes, hypertension, and asthma, as well as providing general internal medicine services such as treating cold, cough, flu, women's health visits, IUD insertions, Pap smears, annual well checks, and pain management. The ability to refer patients when necessary is essential.

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Provide comprehensive internal medicine care for adult patients 

• Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma 

• Conduct annual well checks and preventive care visits 

• Perform women's health procedures, including IUD insertions and Pap smears 

• Treat acute conditions like cold, cough, and flu 

• Offer pain management services 

• Make appropriate referrals to specialists when necessary 

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using the RPMS system 

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care 

• Stay current with the latest developments in internal medicine


Additional Information: 

• Any state medical license will be accepted 

• Familiarity with the RPMS electronic health record system is beneficial
