Under general direction of the Facilities Manager, provides general building and grounds maintenance and services at a regional headquarters building as well as surrounding branch office locations as necessary.
Responsibilities
Performs maintenance duties for all Regional headquarters buildings and surrounding branch office locations, both interior and exterior, including, but not limited to, electrical, plumbing, painting, heating and cooling, structural, grounds care and other preventative maintenance, as needed.
Monitors building services including housekeeping, security, landscaping, extermination, HVAC, etc.; notifies Facilities Manager of problems/concerns.
As required, assists with incoming and outgoing shipments, including unloading of delivery trucks, filling orders and scheduling deliveries to/from regional offices.
Works with outside vendors and suppliers to provide oversight, assistance, and/or direction as required.
Performs miscellaneous duties related to building security, such as preparation of photo ID badges, programming of control devices for parking lots and entrances, monitoring, and reporting security matters to proper authorities, etc.
Operates and maintains high-speed copiers and other print shop equipment to provide printed materials for various Club departments (including collating, binding, and delivery of all materials.
Schedules and provides meeting room set-up requests in a timely manner to meet user requirements.
Maintains stock and inventory reports.
Maintains appearance of grounds, e.g., performs light landscaping and watering of plants, removes litter, snow, spreads ice melter, etc
Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications:
High school graduate or equivalent required. Additional training in at least one or more mechanical related fields (e.g., Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Carpentry, etc.) desired.
Ability to personally make repairs to various electrical, plumbing, HVAC and/or general repairs at club properties as required.
PC literacy including experience with word processing and spreadsheet software required.
Must be familiar with warehouse equipment, including tow motors, electronic pallet jacks and electric over hydraulic man lifts.
Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, floor plans and other Facility systems plans and renderings preferred
Must be able to lift and move a minimum of 50 pounds
