Seeking a Full-time Float Pharmacist to perform professional duties and responsibilities associated with the processing of prescriptions. Opportunity to cover shifts at pharmacy locations in Pittsburgh, PA and surrounding areas. Pharmacy hours are generally Monday - Friday from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm or 8:30 am – 5:00 pm. Some overnight travel will be required.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
  • Provides information to customers about medications and their use
  • Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service
  • Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy
  • Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy
  • Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
  • Current pharmacist license in state of Pennsylvania
  • Authorization to Administer Injectables license in the state of Pennsylvania or willing to obtain
  • Access to reliable transportation and valid driver’s license 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Pharmacist experience
