Position Title: Packaging Operator

Wage: $18.50- $20.50 Based on the Shift

Shift: Am or PM/ 12 Hour Shifts

-Option 1 – Standard Schedule / A Rotation 2-2-2 / 4a-4p (36 hours WK1, 48 hours WK2), $19.00/ Hour
-Option 2 – Friday-Sunday / 4a-4p (36 hours), $19.00/ Hour
-Option 3 – Friday – Sunday / 6a-4p (30 hours); $19.00/ Hour
-Option 4- Monday – Friday; 4pm to 3am, $18.50 per hour plus $2.00 Shift premium

We're seeking a detail-oriented individual to handle sanitation duties, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness in our cheesemaking facility. Packing Operator Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor packaging machinery to ensure product quality.

- Enter work orders and item codes, weigh and label blocks.
- Box cheese and perform quality control checks.
- Palletize and move finished products to staging areas.
- Close work orders and record shipment information.
- Perform setup, calibration, and minor maintenance on equipment.
- Sanitize equipment and packaging areas per procedures.

Packing Operator Requirements:

-High school degree or equivalent (GED), preferred.
-Experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably food manufacturing.
-Lift 20-30lbs repetitively, flipping and lifting product above shoulder height and from waist down to floor level pallets
-Strong operation control and monitoring skills.
-Basic math skills for weight measurement and counts.
-Ability to read and comprehend work-related documents and instructions.
-Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office.
-Forklift certified (training and certification provided internally).
-Must be quality focused and able to follow GMP requirements and food safety requirements
