As Dispatcher, you are the critical link between Whiteline, drivers and customers. Your mission is to ensure 100% safe and on-time pick and delivery.Â
You Will
Plan and schedule truck drivers' routes and freight to be picked up and delivered
Monitor truck movement, road conditions and other potential impacts to service delivery. In addition, handle issues, such as breakdowns, accidents and unexpected road closures.
Be in constant communication with drivers, customers and internal management, assuring all parties are informed and concerns are addressed.
Maintain documentation in operational systems
Assure DOT regulation compliance, including driver Hours of Service
You Have
High School Diploma or equivalent.Â
A minimum of two (2) years of truck dispatcher experience
Working knowledge of trucking, shipping and logistics operations
Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to handle challenging situations in a calm and competent manner
The ability to think on your feet and make sound decisions quickly
Experience using transportation management systems
Exceptional time management and organizational skills
Knowledge of DOT regulations
